Well, that is difficult to say. But potentially: yes.

Considering my own buying habits, I tend to buy books from publishers I know and who have a good reputation for valuable content in their books. It is hard to convince people of that, when you are on your own. And as there quite some good books in their catalogue, I would probably consider going with them again if the situation arose.

However, I know other authors that have worked with other - even more renowned - publishers, and their experiences are comparable to mine. I believe, in the end you just have to live with it, no matter who the publisher is, unless you already a well-known personality with your potential readership and do not need the publisher to spread the word and share some of their reputation.
